Jerome Rural Fire District – Serving Since 1944
The Jerome Rural Fire District has proudly served the citizens of Jerome County and surrounding rural areas since 1944. Founded on the principles of dedication, community service, and public safety, our department has grown from a small, local response team into a professional and well-trained volunteer-based organization. We are committed to protecting life, property, and the environment through fire suppression, emergency medical response, rescue operations, and fire prevention education. Our team of volunteers and career staff work side by side to respond quickly, act effectively, and support our community in times of need. Over the decades, we’ve embraced advancements in technology, training, and equipment, but our mission has remained the same: to serve with integrity, courage, and compassion. As we look to the future, the Jerome Rural Fire District remains rooted in tradition while always striving for excellence. We are proud to serve, and even prouder to call this community home.
